Some of the things I have written have been read more than others. Here they are for easy access:

Welcoming #1: The story of the moment I met and brought home my first foster son- who was two days old.

A Prayer for my Foster Son: This one is pretty self-explanatory, I think.

My Letter to Ellen: My plea to Ellen DeGeneres to celebrate foster moms on mothers day- not just to recognize them, but to raise awareness about the importance of foster care (and need for foster families). As of today, I haven't heard back from her. But maybe one day I will....

Ten Tips for Flying Solo with a Baby: As a single foster parent, I have- on two separate occasions (so far)- endeavored to travel across the country with my foster son. Four 4-hour flights (and four 1 hour connecting flights) later, I came up with a list of tips to help others brave enough to take on this challenge.

My Son's Other Mom: This post is a reflection on my son's other mom- from my first Mother's Day as a mom. It is, in my opinion, one of the most important things I've written.
